What's so extreme about ice-cream? Isn't it just... ice-cream. Not here at N2 Extreme Gelato, where the staff make the flavourful ice-creams for you right in front of your very eyes with their tanks of liquid nitrogen!
How cute is the guy above? When he saw me taking a photo of the front of the store, he cheerfully posed for the camera with two thumbs up! Made my day!
There were a few flavours to choose from, and anyone who knows me well knows how indecisive I can be when it comes down to food. I asked the staff for their recommendation, and as helpful as they tried to be, I don't think they realised they ended up recommending for me their entire menu! Haha! So I went with my instinct and chose what sounded appealing - the Earl Grey Caramel. Dona chose to try the Walrus Delight, which was "rose gelato with pistachios and choc chips". She let me try some of hers, and it was delicious indeed. I'm definitely choosing that flavour on my next trip there. And yes, I do intend to return soon. It was amazing ice-cream. The texture of my Earl Grey Caramel was smooth and thick, whilst Dona's Walrus Delight had crunchy bits of nuts and choc chip in it. Quite an experience!
