So in I walked with high hopes. The place was very busy and we waited in line. To be honest, we had expected it to be this busy so I wasn't disappointed. As John and I flicked through their eye-catching menu which was filled with pictures of the desserts (making it easier to choose what we wanted), we came across a range of delightful-looking desserts, which if I remembered correctly, were the snow iced desserts. However as we were here for the first visit, we wanted to try their signature range - the herbal jellies.
We chose to share the honey-bean, pearls and glutinous cake (to be honest, I don't remember exactly which one it was). It was $6.80.
John loved it, but he's never had anything like this before. Compared to MeetFresh, I don't think it matches up the the standard, but I'm willing to give The Dessert Story another try next time. Maybe we'll try the iced desserts?
